(Another post for my reference, but as below, if you know a way I can save money, do say so!)

Computer Things

• external harddrive - must be Mac and PC compatible. I can transfer files directly via ethernet (I may even do it someday) but I don't want everything moved; I'd rather keep some things on an external drive permanently. Brand recommendations welcome.

• Wireless! - must be able to check imdb while watching movies. Also, as long as I am feeling like utter crap (did I mention I'm sick?), would be nice to work from bed. I'm not sure what I need here. Is all wireless created equal?
